# escalation_destination_rejected

**HTTP status:** 422 (Unprocessable)

**Title:** The destination was rejected

## Cause

Linear did not accept the API key, the team or the project, or the webhook URL is not a public https address. `param` is `linear.apiKey`, `linear.team` or `linear.project` when that value is the problem. Without `param`, Linear rejected the request for another reason and the data you sent may be fine.

## How to fix it

For Linear, send an API key that is valid and can see the team, and the key or id of an existing team of that workspace. For a webhook, send a public https URL.

Set the parameter named below and send the request again.

Parameter: `provider`

Every error carries `requestId` and the `Request-Id` header. Send it when you write to support.
